I'm not sure if this will be helpful for anyone else but has worked for me. I recently switched to the s22 ultra and tried and tried to get text messages to no avail. After much Google searching and help forum searches I finally decided to try changing my default messaging to a different option so I could put a check next to messages in the app notification section on the fitbit app. That actually worked for me and I get all of my messages on my watch now. I also kept trying to fix the the connection issue on my Bluetooth to get phone calls and read somewhere (can't remember) that it's okay for your phone to show not connected for versa 3 controls on your phone. It'll connect when you actually get a phone call. It's true. Calls show up on my watch even though it had shown not connected. It has to do with draining battery
