Someone changed the email address to my Fitbit account

So it says someone changed the email address to my Fitbit account. It was not me. My Fitbit now says it is ‘locked’ and will not connect to phone. Anybody else have this issue?

Since this seems to be a security issue, I am flagging your post for moderator attention.  They should be in touch with you soon.

 

In a pinch, I suppose you could set up a new account with a new email and try to connect your Versa to that account.  Just in case you need it, I've included the instructions on how to set up a new account here.

I assume the instructions that came with the email notice did not work.

No. After creating an account and trying to sync my Fitbit, it still says the device is locked.

The same thing happened to me, I was locked out of my account for a week waiting on fitbit to reset my email 😞 

Terrible service in my opinion
