I keep experiencing problems when swimming, I did 10 lengths and after stopping for a rest the Fitbit registered 0 lengths. Sometimes it works and sometimes inaccurate.
After the 10 lengths I reset the Fitbit and swam again and it registered the 40 lengths

I feel like I have some sort of a result for the inaccurate heart rate and calorie count in swim mode. When I go to the exercise mode and put on swim I get one reading but today I decided to try a different mode. I put it on “outdoor” instead of swim. I only did about 10 minutes of outdoor and then switched to swim just to see the difference and take a look at the stats. It’s really huge difference. Since I am interested in seeing my heart rate and calorie burn outdoor mode is going to work better for me than swim mode !! I might start using outdoor instead of swim when I do my laps at the pool

It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community @Bebfire.
Thank you for letting us know that you've found a way to track your swim sessions and thanks for the attached image.
Please note that your device doesn't track your heart rate during swimming sessions because light refraction in the water might cause inaccurate readings. Our team currently has no plans to implement this feature but if there is any change it will be communicated on this suggestion.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any question.
