Sometimes my Versa doesn't show my heart rate

I had the ionic before and got the versa later because I didn't need a gps and the versa at least looked better on paper. But now that I have it for a few days I hate it for the fact that it shows I climbed 20-27 floors when I did just 4-5. The ionic did consistently show me accurate results in the same environment! I wonder whether I should switch back to the ionic or return this for a different versa again !
Some times it wouldn't show my heart rate.. I have to wait till it shows up! I wonder if they've used lower quality sensors on the versa than on the Ionic ! 😕 Very dissapointed! I hope fitbit you're reading this and find a fix soon !

One of the mods just mentioned in another thread how the Versa could be affected by changes in barometric pressure (which apparently is part of how it detects changes in elevation). I know it has been off for me here and there, and our weather has been wacky lately. Explained a lot for me.

So looks like I'm not the only one.
Also I read on another thread that restarting it 3 times somehow helps. It doesn't make sense but I've done it anyway since that's the only thing we can do right now. At least today here in Irving, Texas I've climbed 14 floors while it's showing 13. Not sure if it's by fluke or the restart helped.
Will either start another thread or post a reply on the same thread in case things get a little better for me.
