I’m very stuck deciding which colour fitbit versa I should get!! I’m stuck between the SE rose gold one, the classic rose gold one or the grey one.
I’m leaning towards the SE rose gold one however I heard that it come with the additional black band not the pink one I was hoping for. Does anyone have a photo of the rose gold with black band? Or I saw on another post about photos of it being on a Facebook group so can someone link me to that also?
Furthermore, does the pink band wear quickly? I exercise a lot so I don’t want it to lose colour or wear too quickly as I do a lot of swimming.
All in all, any suggestions for colours? Should I get the SE or not? Help!!
Best AnswerI debated forever about the Graphite SE version or the black version. I ended up getting the SE for the Fitbit Pay feature and the additional band. Figured for an extra $30, why not? Now just waiting for it to arrive.
Best AnswerI ordered a peach/rose gold and I realized that the colour fades, you can see if it gets dirty, and someone said it might leave a stain. However, none of these are tested.
For the SE or regular...
I'm guessing you live in the UK so there, both editions have Fitbit Pay. Now, are you willing to pay $30 more for a band? In my opinion, it's not because you can't wear it while working out, and they are hard to switch out and I just don't have enough time to do that. I chose peach because it matches most of what I wear and it looks nice. Also, the purple and rose gold looks a bit weird to me...

Best Answer@SportyAX You can kind of image it with the black and rose gold, and I think it looks bad...
Best Answer@SportyAX Apple watches and Fitbit bands and bodies are very different. To me, it looks weird but it looks like to me that you already said you like it, so since you like the combo, buy it!:) If you do that though, I suggest buying another peach band.
Best AnswerI made my decision based on the band (I also had the added benefit of the NFC even though my bank is not currently supported). At this point it doesn't look like you can order the woven bands separately but you can order the regular bands separately if you want them. So I would say it depends on if you want that woven band or not.
The last picture on this page shows the rose gold with black band: https://www.fitbit.com/shop/accessories/versa-classic?color=black
Yeah, I agree with @renhcer the main reason why I didn't buy the SE version-which honestly wasn't even the colour-was because I didn't want to pay $30 more for Fitbit Pay which I don't use because it doesn't support my bank and I didn't need the extra band. But you don't seem to care much about the extra $30 and Fitbit pay is supported on both versions for you, so if I were in that situation, I'd buy it!! I admit, the rose gold and black actually don't look as weird as I thought (whoops!). Hey, if I found $30 in my closet or something, I'd cancel my order and buy the SE edition!![]()
In my opinion.... I probably should have just gone with the regular versa instead of the SE which I have in the purple/rose gold.
The SE band frays super fast. Like the first week mine was fraying. It's also "crispy" feeling and feels cheap. Not as nice as I hoped. I also saw on Amazon there is an exact dupe to the SE bands on there for like $10 I think each. They are identical. These can't be worn for much exercise though or they will fray worse (and definitely not swimming).
Cosmetically as well, there are "bumpers" you can put around the device too to change the color, etc. Also cheap on amazon.
The only different with the SE is the rose gold color and the fitbit pay which I have yet to use. I have it setup but not a lot of the stores I go to have the reader I need for it anyways.
Hope this helps you with your decision!
Best AnswerWhen you say the difference is the rose gold color, do you mean the actual watch? I bought the rose gold w/ peach band and starting to rethink it as the watch looks pink 😔 I’m not into pink and I’m not as happy as I thought I’d be. Thanks for any reply!!
Best AnswerFor my Versa I have the regular black band, and it seems to work great! When you buy the regular edition it comes with two bands, a small and a large. In my opinion, I like the gray band better, but the Special Edition, Rose Gold band is great too!
Best AnswerThere can be two colors on the watch. But one you can not take off, so yes the watches can be different colors.
Best AnswerHello @SportyAX, greta to see you in the Fitbit Community,
So, don't let the bands make you decide how to buy. I bought the Versa SE due to the bands. Then, after a little investigation, I found 3rd party sellers on amazon selling the same type of band for 7.00! I love my Versa SE just wish I would have known that.
