I’ve recently got the Spotify HR app on my new Versa watch, when I’m playing my music on my phone I can see the song playing on my watch but I am unable to pause, play, skip, turn up volume and change playlist on it. I’ve tried resting both my watch and phone and also turned Bluetooth on and off to try solve the problem.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know about the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. Please note that as Spotify HR was not developed by Fitbit, we do not offer support for it. My best recommendation is to contact Spotify HR's developer by going to Account > Versa > Apps > Spotify HR and tap on the "contact developer" button. Let them know about these issues, I'm sure they will be more than happy to help you.
