Spotify and Stava won't connect

Both Strava and Spotify won't connect to my Versa 2 watch. I just get the message 'make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on, then sync your device using the fitbit mobile app'. My Bluetooth is on and I have logged into both apps on my fitbit account. I have a Huawei phone. Please can anyone advise how to connect these two apps?

I'm not sure what is not happening. 

Your Strava account connects with your Fitbit account, not the watch. 

The Strava app for the Versa connects to your Strava account. 

Spotify connects with your Spotify app on the phone. 

May I ask what type of errors you are seeing, or what is not happening? 

Has both ever been setup.
