It's not nice when there's bugs in an app or device, but it's even more frustrating when bugs that had been fixed before are being reintroduced with the next update(s). And that's exactly what you've done with the Spotify app on my Versa 2 which functioned fine for almost a year after the Spotify login-bug had FI-NAL-LY been fixed (yes, it took your team over two months to even acknowledge this bug, let alone fix it).

 

So PLEASE, pretty please with sugar on top! Can you FIX this asap please?

As previously suggested, please try steps in this article: How do I control music playing on Spotify?. Also, make sure that Spotify app doesn't have an pending update.
