Spotify for Versa Smartwatches

If the Versa had Spotify I would be the first in line to buy one. Is Fitbit looking into partnering with Spotify? If not, why not?

So, I was told directly by a Fitbit employee they can't say yes or no
definitely one way or another whether Spotify will be offered eventually.

There was someone on this thread mentioning that it's probably a 'no' for
Spotify because of the other ties to Pandora, etc. I forgot the exact
wording but it didn't sound promising.

Also just a little food for thought: I have no experience with the versa
but I do own a mighty (it's a device that syncs with Spotify playlists) and
it sounds like it's the exact same loading concept as the versa. And my
might takes FOREVER to load. So long that it drains the battery in the long
time it takes to download songs to it.

On a different note: why can't someone make a device that we pay cell
service for that way we can easily stream anything we want, (podcasts, etc)
but still have it on a small, managable, lightweight design. I would GLADLY
pay for an extra device on my phone carrier to use instead of my phone.
Just sayin! I've wanted something like this for years but just waiting for
someone to make it happen.

I need Spotify on the versa, I use this watch during my workouts at the gym and my playlists on Spotify have taken a couple years to create and build upon. I don’t want to lose all my music and switch to pandora. Hoping fitbit  considers Spotify as a new app for the versa

This says "solved" but it seems like there's still no Spotify on the versa. I'm confused.

This is not solved. Fitbit may have flagged it is solved because they said
they are aware that Spotify doesn’t work on the Versa. I guess we have
different ideas about what “solved” means.
