If the Versa had Spotify I would be the first in line to buy one. Is Fitbit looking into partnering with Spotify? If not, why not?

There is a app on fitbit that works with spotify. I have a spotify premium and its called spotify HR. If you have your headphones in and start the app on your phone you should be able to connect to spotify HR on your fitbit. You would be able to contorl your music then.
Hope this helps

It is an ultimate disservice to Fitbit customers everywhere, that Spotify is not compatible with the Versa. I specifically chose FitBit over the Apple Watch bc I excepted it to be way my durable and versatile. It is turning out not to be. Serious upgrades need to happen fast or I’m going to return it and join the Apple Coven.

Hi, you're able to add Spotify to your Versa: Go to apps -All apps - Press All apps - Go to the Search Ico on top of the screen on the right side - Type in the Search Bar "Spotify" and it will show you the SpotifyHR app - Press it and choose Install and Spotify will be on your Versa. Hope this helps and Happy Holidays.

There is currently no officially supported app for any Fitbit device. I believe Spotify HR only lets you control music that is playing on other devices. No offline functionality on the fitbit.

Hi, yep you're right. It's only a remote controller for your Spotify account. Overlooked that, sorry!

I can’t setup Spotify on my Versa. I press the settings and log in button but it won’t let me. How can I set up Spotify?

Spotify doesn't work with Fitbit yet, you can only use pandora or deezer. See https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2251/?q=Music&l=en_US&fs=Se

Isn’t Pandora for radio? I think you meant to say you won’t be pushed to Deezer. Have you tried the Fitbit music app? You can use it to push files you rip from CD (or other) onto your Fitbit.

I wish Fitbit also supported Spotify.
But the stock "cast your vote" replies from Fitbit are not only tiresome, but ridiculous.
Fitbit: Do you REALLY need people to vote to tell you to support Spotify? Ridiculous.
You want to maximize your TAM and try to introduce more mainstream devices, and want to broaden your appeal, based on your current strategy and product launches and stated goals.
YET you choose not to support the world's number one streaming music service. And #1 or #2 depending on whether you count those people forced into Apple Music.
Instead you choose second tier services.
You do not have the ecosystem tie ins of an Apple or Samsung to help you out. Your category is competitor filled and commoditizing, and your only differentiators will be functionality, design, software smarts , and apps & third party partnerships. The latter is the x factor.
Garmin has been smart enough to offer Spotify, Samsung abandoned their own music strategy in the face of the obvious and did the same, and somehow you guys are determined to gun for lesser services on your most mainstream device, to put yourselves at an intentional competitive disadvantage. Your strategy and partnerships crew needs an audit.
In sum - nobody here should need to "vote" on whether you should be supporting Spotify - it should be glaringly obvious you should be supporting the world's most popular music service.
