Spotify for Versa Smartwatches

If the Versa had Spotify I would be the first in line to buy one. Is Fitbit looking into partnering with Spotify? If not, why not?

I can login though the app with my Ionic on the Spotify HR watch app and the Spotify phone app open. I get the menu on my watch screen to control everything in spotify, but the ionic touch screen doesn't ever seem to respond...watch screen commands don't control the phone app music.

Is there a way to play music from my Spotify playlists on the Fitbit Versa without having to go through third party software? I just purchased one but can't really see myself keeping it if I have to jump through hoops just to have my own playlists during my workout or while I teach class (one of the main reasons I bought it).

Just got the versa really like it but too difficult to get itunes to transfer (drm files)

Well, the good news is that the feature suggestion for adding spotify is one of the most popular with, currently, over 9000 votes. You can add your vote at: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Spotify-for-Ionic-Versa/idi-p/2171901

The bad news is that people have been voting for that idea for more than a year and there hasn't been any news on progress. I'd guess that the chances of it happening soon are slim.

I had the Blaze for two years and I used to play Spotify on my phone and my Blaze would let me play the next track I don't seem to have that option on the Versa is that correct?

Hi, Spotify for the Versa is not available. Instead you can use Deezer.

I have loaded it but it still does not allow me to skip tracks on the watch like I used to do with the Blaze!
