Spotify won’t install on my Versa Lite

Hi. I have a versa lite. And no matter what I try, the Spotify app won’t install. The install button is grey, and it keeps telling me that I need to update my device. 
I’ve tried everything. My iPhone X is updated, I have “run in background” on my settings for the Fitbit app, all day sync is on. I’ve done everything I have read I should do. But it still won’t install. Help!

Hi @GM96, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that the Spotify app can't be installed on your Versa Lite. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch

After this, try to install the Spotify app again and see if the issue gets fixed.
