Stair Climber doesn't add to floors count

Why doesn't it to the total number of floors??? Why are there so many problems with so many features? Nothing works well.

Floors climbed are detected by an altimeter sensing changes in altitude.  On a stairclimber, you are not increasing your altitude.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you. I thought the minimal going up and down would account for it. I guess not.

It takes a ten foot altitude change to count as one stair set.

I get that but why isn’t there a way to put in your steps when you log it, why are calories and time the only options to enter?  Seems like that would be something that can be added to the algorithm in the logging section.  We can log lots of details for other exercises.

Hello @Cembry and a warm welcome.  Stairclimber is one of the exercise shortcuts that is available on your Versa.  I recommend using the Exercise App instead of logging your exercise.  Check out this Help Article for more information.
