Step count seems to be reducing on the Fitbit app

My daily count on my watch seems pretty accurate, but my steps that shows up on my phone in the app keeps reducing. This weekend I had almost 100,000 steps now I'm down to 80,000.

Hey @Pipersmom, welcome aboard! Let me ask you this, where are you seeing this amount of steps? On the friends list part or on the detailed steps part? In the meantime, I will suggest you the following: 

 

- Make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app on your Android phone

- Log out/log in to your Fitbit account

- Force sync your Versa

Thanks for replying. The steps on the friends list has not changed in a
week, after plummeting almost 20k steps. I will try your suggestions.
