Step counts and active minutes not correct-Versa

Pre order my Fitbit Versa ,(All Black) received it last Saturday today will be one week with it 4/15/2018 .I’m very disappointed with this watch the step counts  are not correct I find it to give me to many step counts  compared to my Fitbit Alta which I think was great but i just wanted a new style watch. I also think the actvate minutes are not correct I called customer service and they said they will get back to me tomorrow through email to see if they can fix the problem if they don’t I will be returning it .I also ask if a new os update will be release soon and she didn’t know.if I drive a car my step counts will increase so much. if I drink water with the same hand that the watch is on it will say I took 25 to 50 steps ..watch has a pretty nice design but  if it doesn’t work right to keep track of my steps and my actvate minutes and heart rate it’s useless .I also notice the weather app doesn’t alway  sync..I reset the watch 4 times already what a disappointment with Fitbit I think I want my 200.00 back but I will give them a chance to fix the problem they better move quick over tthere

I am having the same issue. Step count is not accurate at all as the original post stated. The floor is not accurate neither. I only climbed one floor. It shows I have climbed 10.

I have purchased 3 Versa in total (I bought two first and before I received them, I bought another one) and have returned one already due to the device kept on rebooting.  Honestly, I like the design of Versa and of course, the price. 

 

I understand there will have bugs for any new products, but I think the step count function should be one of the basic functions for any tracker. At this point, I will keep it for a few more days.

I agree ...I will keep it for a few more days also I hope Fitbit gets it right ..I preordered my girlfriend watch and it should be coming tomorrow am pretty sure she’s not going to be happy with the performance also..I really hope they get it right cause I will go back to my Fitbit Alta which was working excellent .I just wanted something new it’s a pretty nice design I have to say
