I have noticed when I wake up in the morning I have already had 100 steps in before I even get out of bed or when I am sitting down looking at it, the step count goes up when I am not even moving. Not sure why?

Hi @Nickparks  the day begins at midnight and these are wrist based devices, so your hand movements at night are recorded as steps. 100 steps isn't bad from midnight until the time you wake up. You looking at the device or your smartphone?

Sometimes when I move quickly and sit down, I can see the rest of the steps popping up on my Android phone. Once I sync, the steps are the same on both Fitbit and phone.
