Step fluctuations versa 3

Yesterday I started having a fitbit issue.  I saw last night there was a Fitbit update so I thought I would check in morning to see if problem fixed.  It’s not fixed!!! I receive notifications that I achieved my first 5K.  When I look at watch, it looks good? When I update app, it matches the watch.  When I sync again, it starts generating all different step amounts and watch reflects all the strange amounts.  I found if you sync over and over it eventually doesn’t change so I figured it was the correct steps.  I had to do this all day and just now today.  It let me know I had 5K but I knew I had about 3K shortly before so I knew not correct.  I synced again and again and finally settled on about 4K for correct amount.

I've been using work around. I shut off Bluetooth most of the day and then I turn it back on and I use the sync area under the device.  The sync automatically runs, twice.  When you look at today the amount is going to be huge. If you go back to device and hit sync, when you look back at today, the amount matches whatever you originally saw on your watch before you did this process. If that original watch amount looked pretty accurate, it should match exactly what you now on the today amount including calories and miles.

The only thing that bums me out is that I also have been using my Health app on my iPhone and the amounts are at least two or 3000 less than my health app.  The miles difference is really bad.

It has been consistently fine for me for at least the last week. I do have
a problem when using my AirPods. I have hearing aids too but I talk on
phone using my AirPods. With my hearing aids I have no problem the app.
With the AirPods the app is a bit sluggish keeping up with the versa 3 as I
do steps. I’m happy so far
