Steps keep freezing on my Versa 3 when walking or running

For the last month, when I’m walking/running I look at at my accumulated steps and they aren’t moving. I tap it a few times and it starts working again but never catches up. I’m missing a bunch of steps every day, and I’m using this to make sure I’m getting in enough steps daily. I rely on this device heavily and this is very frustrating
