Steps not accurate when wearing Versa on wrist

I recently switched from wearing my Versa on my wrist to my ankle and noticed my step count is a lot better. Now every step is being counted especially when I’m on the treadmill because I tend to hold the bars rather than swinging my arms.

Hi, it seems logical to me that your Versa is more accurate wearing it around your ankle when you're on the treadmill, cause you hold the bars and are not moving your arms, which is needed to count your steps accurately.
