Steps not included in weekend challenge

I just synced my watch to my mobile app on my Samsung Galaxy S8.  I had just over 20500 steps for the weekend, but the weekend challenge only shows that I had 15000 + steps. Everyone in the challenge is in the same time zone. Why would it not include all my steps?

If any of your steps were manually logged, they do not get included in challenges, only steps the tracker actually records.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Guess I should have included that note as well.  No manually recorded steps.  It's just like I was blocked from including the steps for Sunday when I synced @ 3PM today.  I only sync about every one or two days.

This is happening with my and people in workwesk hustle in same time zone did you get a solution?

No, I'm guessing if there is a response it would be that there is a time limit, and that's just the way it is. And then they'll tell me I can make a suggestion that the sync time be extended and of course nothing will be done about it.   As it is now, it appears one only has until noon the day after the challenge ends, to sync their watch.  That's fine if you live in a city or town and never go out in the hills where there is no wifi, or if you never backpack where there is no wifi, or if you are anxiously wanting to sync all the time.  But if one has a life and is busy and can't sync until a day or a few days later, I guess we're just out of luck.  One of the objectives for these watches is to promote activity.  If one has to sit around and sync all the time, that's counterproductive.

My problem is more that yesterday I had 14000 steps but only 9000 were synced even though the person who started the workweek hustle is in sane time zone?

Is that in a Daily Showdown?  And, what time did you sync after obtaining the 14,000 steps?

Best Answer

No workweek hustle that started yesterday had 14000 by midnight yesterday and a further 12000 today and all it says I have is 19700 in total.

And I synced periodically throughout day.

Using the term Just now, does not tell us anything about what time that the sync actually happened.

Toy say that you sink every other day.

Fitbit gives a 12 hope Grace period to sync. Was your sync within 12 hours after the Challange ended?

Challenge has not ended it's day 3 now. I have 28000 roughly steps but the challenge says 19000.

I'm confused @Dazl20  a weekend challenge only lasts 2 days not 3 or more.

It is usually a better idea to start a new thread for an issue than to putback or hijack an unrelated thread.

May I ask if you have updated your Fitbit app to the latest version, and what type of phone do you sync through? One of the phone apps recently was giving us this problem but I thought it was fixed a month ago.

My problem is workweek hustle uploads not weekend challenge. I asked on this feed if the person got a fix for it..... I'm well aware of how many days are in a weekend. As I said asked if they got it fixed... sorry I asked it seems

Excuse me for not posting the exact time.  At the time I posted, that time was listed and one could have seen it if they looked.  I didn't know the time posted did not stay with the post.

"Toy say that you sink every other day. "  ????

If you read one of my later posts, now (Tuesday @ 11:09 MDT) listed as yesterday (even though other posts from yesterday are also listed as Monday (very confusing), you'll see I discovered the noon deadline and you'll see my thoughts on that deadline.
