I bought my versa a week ago and the steps on the watch goes from 0-40 then over and and over. It's happened all day and the battery isn't showing anymore.

@Lynettefraser Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Versa resets back to zero all of a sudden. I'd like you to try restarting your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally.
Once you have restarted your tracker, monitor your Versa and see if the issue gets fixed.
