Basically, I posted here but they let me know they don’t want me telling you much info, but check Settings and there is an on/off switch Support should tell you about, make sure it’s on. They would rather you buy a new watch than tell you to check this first. Worked for me!

Correct. That's no big secret. If you are not getting heart rate, check that you don't have it turned off is Settings, or that it didn't accidentally get turned off.
