Still getting Reminders to Move, even though they are turned off

Because I often take an afternoon nap, I don't want my Versa whining at me for not moving during that time. To prevent that, I first reduced the Start and End times for Reminders to Move to the minimum 5 hours allowed (9AM to 2PM), and then turned Reminders to Move off entirely in my iPhoneX Fitbit app. Sadly, that hasn't been enough to disable the Look Alive! notifications, even on days like today where I've already logged more steps than my daily goal. And yes, I sync my Versa with the app daily.

Any other way to force off the unwanted Look Alive! notifications?

Hello @straz

You can set up notifications so they don't bother you while you are sleeping.

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1986

Also, here is the manual that also has a lot of good information.

The suggestion in the linked article to check the Dashboard at Fitbit.com may have helped. It still showed me as having Reminders to Move on from 9AM to 2PM, although that does not explain why I was getting that notification at 4:50PM today. Anyhow, I was able to remove Reminders to Move from my Dashboard at Fitbit.com, so we'll see if that helps in any way.

As for the manual, thanks, but I already had that.

The one at 4;50 pm might of beeen a call, text or a calendar appt or even a alarm if you had one set up.

No, I checked. It was a Get Moving! message, not a call, text or calendar alert. (I get all of those too.)

And it never happened before, might be a small glitch and you may need to do a restart to remove it.

Keep us in the loop if the fix worked for you.

Also, another notification you can get is for 10,000 steps. It will vibrate and show fireworks on your clock display.

Why not put your Versa into its DND mode at nap time?

Have you tried the SimpleClock.

It has on the watch settings that allow you to disable the 40 minute and 50 minute reminders, independently or both together, so its simple for it to be silent whilst sleeping during the day.
