Stopped receiving notifications since update

Ever since the update I have not been able to receive texts on my watch.  I havent had this problem before and iv had this watch for almost a year.  Iv tried all troubleshooting techniques and none of them have worked.  I know that fitbit is aware there are issues since the update so is there going to be a resolution soon.  I know its not my phone I have a samsung Galaxy s8 plus & like I said this has never happened until this current update. So im really just looking for a timeline of when it will be fixed. Its literally just text messages,snapchat messages,and facebook messenger that i used to get notifications for before. Thank you

I had an update from fitbit overnight and i restarted my fitbit and phone and its working again i get texts.

You guys are lucky, I don't get any notifications of any kind on my versa, and I've tried resetting my Fitbit, my phone, the app but nothing works 🙁 all I get told is that they're aware of a bug.

 

Huawei Mate P20 Pro user.

Same!  I can’t get notifications either.  Very frustrated.  My Fitbit is only 4 months old!

My Versa is having the same problems.  Very frustrating.  I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Fitbit this morning and was told they are aware of the issues and are working on it.  They have no idea how long it could be until there is a fix.  I went thru this in November last year when I purchased the new Charge  3.  The problems went on for 3 months - not receiving notifications.  Was told it was my iPhone.  I returned the Charge and later purchased the Versa.  Now it’s starting again.  I’m done with Fitbit!

The update to the Fitbit app was part of the problem!

Just got everything back this morning!

I have the latest version of the app. I have followed ALL troubleshooting steps.  Text message notifications Still weren't working.
 I again uninstalled and reinstalled the app and factory reset my watch. Now I’m not getting any notifications.

So glad to finally see this. I thought it was me! I have been trying for 2 days to get notifications. I have done everything to try and fix it. So glad I am not going crazy!!

Any word on when this will get fixed??? I rely on the vibrate of the text notifications. Come on Fitbit. Tell your engineers to get their **ahem** together.

For the ones that aren’t working, what phones do you have? So far the people I work with or know that have Fitbit, don’t have any issues. But they have Android where I have Apple and I have issues.

Yep tried everything,  delete,  reinstall,  rebooting phone,  rebooting Bluetooth.
