Ever since the update I have not been able to receive texts on my watch.  I havent had this problem before and iv had this watch for almost a year.  Iv tried all troubleshooting techniques and none of them have worked.  I know that fitbit is aware there are issues since the update so is there going to be a resolution soon.  I know its not my phone I have a samsung Galaxy s8 plus & like I said this has never happened until this current update. So im really just looking for a timeline of when it will be fixed. Its literally just text messages, snapchat messages, and facebook messenger that i used to get notifications for before. Thank you

They pushed out another update in the last few days, did you do that one?  I think the iPhone ios 13 update really screwed things up for Fitbit. Although just changing my settings worked for me for some reason. Unfortunate that that doesn't seem to be the case for all.

Same issue. Called Apple. They helped me get it back on Bluetooth. All notifications work BUT text. All they could tell me is “it’s should be working”. That wasn’t helpful lol

I have an oppo Reno z.  Running colorOS 6 based on Android. The only app still not working with my fitbit for notifications is snapchat

Go to your notification settings for messages, turn the preview setting to always allow then sync the Fitbit. Test with a text - then you can switch the setting back off if you don’t want text previews on your locked iPhone screen.

I have not updated my iphone to the new ios. I checked and my fitbit does not show any recent updates. However, I deleted the app, deleted it from blue tooth and started as if it were a new fitbit. Seems to be working now.

I have deleted the app twice and removed from Bluetooth, as well as adjusted all settings in my iPhone for Bluetooth and notifications. Still no texts.

We've lost our patience.  All focus on a fix is iOS based and android is being ignored.  Seriously considering  getting rid of my fit bit

iOS isn’t fixed either. But agreed we are losing patience. It’s been a month, maybe it is time to drop Fitbit. So disappointing. Unbelievable that a tech company would take this long to release a fix for basic functionality that had historically existed.

Firmware update is being rolled out. Worth giving a shot once it's available to you.

The firmware update we got this morning did zero,  zip zilch nothing.  Hopefully 4.0 will help when that eventually gets released
