Ever since the update I have not been able to receive texts on my watch. I havent had this problem before and iv had this watch for almost a year. Iv tried all troubleshooting techniques and none of them have worked. I know that fitbit is aware there are issues since the update so is there going to be a resolution soon. I know its not my phone I have a samsung Galaxy s8 plus & like I said this has never happened until this current update. So im really just looking for a timeline of when it will be fixed. Its literally just text messages,snapchat messages,and facebook messenger that i used to get notifications for before. Thank you

Yep, should loose stuff but gain or improve things. Not make every fitbit user want to change brands

I Have an Iphone, I have Done all troubleshooting steps and It says that Fitbit was updated today But I Don’t get text messades, I do get phone calls and mails

I recommend keeping an eye on the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to be able to update your devices to the latest version as the issue with notifications was resolved for some users with this update. I uninstalled my fitbit and reinstalled. Everything seems to be fine. I have the latest firmware and the latest apple ios update.

Unfortunately notifications are not working for me either.
After the update, I did all the recommended steps to show the notifications... But nothing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I remember if we pressed the left button we would be able to turn the notifications "on". But with the update... Don't see it anymore.
Is there other way?

@Marrrmaduke mine was a duplicate of the tracker update I had already. No 4.0 for me yet. 4.0 is being selectively rolled out. Did it fix anything?

I'm on Android, have the latest firmware on the watch (Versa 1) and app. I see notifications make it to the watch but the watch never buzzes. When I do the test call from the app, that works fine. Not any other time though.
Thing is, everything worked prior to me taking the update yesterday.
I've tried:
Any advice? There must be some on-device setting I'm missing.

After spending a good hour last night updating the firmware for my versa, I thought the prob would be solved! But no, still displaying that I need to restart my phone to get notifications working and still not getting any through!! 😠

Using iph7plus.
i just shut down Versa (by pressing the button for 10sec) and it shut down and restarted.
Then I went into the Fitbit app again. The Steps are now updates in the Fitbit app!

I have the Samsung 8plus.
Everything is updated with my cell, Fitbit app and my versa. Since this download, I can't receive any text notifications. Frustrating. What is the timeline for this to be corrected
