Stopped receiving notifications since update

Ever since the update I have not been able to receive texts on my watch.  I havent had this problem before and iv had this watch for almost a year.  Iv tried all troubleshooting techniques and none of them have worked.  I know that fitbit is aware there are issues since the update so is there going to be a resolution soon.  I know its not my phone I have a samsung Galaxy s8 plus & like I said this has never happened until this current update. So im really just looking for a timeline of when it will be fixed. Its literally just text messages,snapchat messages,and facebook messenger that i used to get notifications for before. Thank you

Mine is just two months old. Versa. If I reset it works and then stops. Very frustrating. Was fine until the update. I have the Samsung 8plus

I have reset, reinstalled the app, disconnected and reconnected my versa. Updated the app and the phone stiil nothing. It would be nice to have an idea of when this is going to be resolved. Mine has not worked for months. If not fixed soon I will be looking for a replacement that is not made by Fitbit.

After updating the firmware on my versa didn't solve the problem with not receiving any kind of notification, I decided to give it one more try and unpaired it from my phone and reset it back to factory settings.

 

After once again, trying to get my phone to actually connect to my versa and download the update for it, everything seemed to work!! There was no red text on the app saying that I need to restart my phone to get notifications working, I even got my wife to text me, low and behold I got a buzz on my wrist and a text through on my versa! Happy days.

 

Or so I thought, this lasted one night!!! I am now back to having nothing come through. Back to having a tracker\smart watch that only tells the time and counts my steps, I may as well have stuck with my Fitbit flex from yes ago. 

 

Looks like I may have to charge up my old Sony smart watch up and put my versa in a draw to collect dust!!

I've give up with my Fitbit, back in the draw and my Sony smartwatch is on my wrist 👍🏻

The app update as done nothing. The text notifications are still not working and it frustrating that this is happening from such a well known product.

The versa is becoming increasingly annoying as when you tap the screen its now not very responsive
