My strap broke whilst swimming. As I was away and wanted a quick replacement I ordered what I thought was a genuine, as it cost £18 but was just rubbish from China. Anyway I can’t attach because the plastic part of original strap is stuck in and I can’t get it out. I’ve had many Fitbit’s and always had great customer service but this time I can’t even get into the chat to get help. Any clues how to remove the plastic insert please? I hate being without my Fitbit.

Hi. I dont really know if I can help with that. But I'll try! There are infinite ways to resolve this issue. But I will tell you 5 ways I can think. 1. Buy a new Fitbit and get a refund on your "broken" one. It may be a long shot. But you may be able to get a new one for free!
Way 2. This is if your good with tools! Buy a saw and saw the piece of plastic off. Or if you want to you can call someone to fix it. Like a electronics fixer type of person
3. Go to a place that sells fitbits and ask them if they can help.
4.weld a new one on. IT MAY BREAK YOUR FITBT SO DO THIS ONE WITH CAUTION!
5. Look up online for other options if none of these work!
I really hope some of these help!❤
