When selecting the Strava icon on the watch I get a message :-
"Go to strava settings on you fitbit mobile app to log in."
Whatever I do doesnt seem to get me connected and I keep getting the same message.
Is there some better instructions somewhere that I can follow to get this working

Hello @Gerry557 and welcome to the Community. If I remember correctly, the Strava app was preloaded onto the Versa 3. Unfortunately, Fitbit removed Strava from the Gallery in 2021. No explanation given. I'm sorry, but there is no way to get this working and it is probably best to uninstall the app.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I only bought the Fitbit to set off the app as my phone is kept inside my jacket and difficult to reach, never mind the time delay. So whilst Im happy that you have replied, Im disappointed with the answer. I know it not your fault. The good news is I can stop trying to do something that has taken me lots of time and effort to try and figure out. I was beginning to think I was turning into grandma, unable to record a tv program on the VCR!
