Strava icon on Fitbit versa saying I need to connect to my Strava account when I already have!

I’ve done everything to try resolve this and at my wits end’! I want to be able to commence a run using the Strava icon on my Fitbit.
currently my runs are syncing to my Strava account from the watch however I am hitting start exercise and run and it syncs after the run. When I click into the Strava icon it says link account. I have gone onto Fitbit and Strava accounts and both confirm authorised. I have linked them.. the info transfers over BUT I cannot use that Strava icon on my watch to initiate runs. Help!!!

I'm exactly the same on my Versa 2!! But it was working fine earlier today, now suddenly it's telling me to link the account again.... Hopefully some answers soon...

It sounds like you have linked your Strava and Fitbit accounts.

However the Strava Dashboard on the Versa has nothing to do with the linking of your accounts.

The Strava dashboard app still needs to be logged into your Strava account.

Go to your Versa Settings in the Fitbit App

Tap Apps

Scroll to the Strava app

Tap the cog to the right and log into Strava

Now force a sync.

It worked when I got up in the morning... Weird but thanks for your help.

Thank you. Resetting it in the end fixed it. I have a new issue though.. my Strava is pulling in my runs from fit bits incorrectly. Yesterday I mapped out a distance on Strava and it was 12.7km. I then ran it and logged it on my Fitbit which also showed 12.7 but when Strava pulled it across to its app it’s showing only 11.98km. This is likely to be more of a Strava issue than a Fitbit one . Just wondering if it’s happening to anyone else
