Strength of face on Versa

Hello;

I was wondering how strong/resilient is the face on the Versa? I would think its  strong considering it's a sports watch but still I was wondering if I need to find a screen protector for my Versa? Does anyone else use a screen protector?

It is Corning Gorilla Glass 3, if that helps; scratch-resistant but no guarantee.
