My brand new versa to just received in January as a gift is stuck on the home screen my home screen has never been swipeable I don't know if I had a different setting marked but now it just turns on and off intermittently throughout the day. I do believe I might have a defective watch someone please help!
I have several health issues that I need this watch on a daily basis.

Hi @Mlarson757 Yes, that doesnt sound right. Have you tried restarting it several times? Also try a Factory Reset (settings app on the watch and scroll down to About - assuming you can navigate there) - or use the button method.
If these dont help at all then you will need to contact Customer Support
BUTTON FACTORY RESET FOR VERSA 2 AND VERSA LITE
Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.
