Sudden drop in battery life--unsatisfactory response from Fitbit.

Almost overnight my Versa (less than 1 year old) battery life went from 3-4 days to less than 24 hours. Before contacting Fitbit, I searched the forums, deactivated notifications, heartrate tracking, etc, fully charged the device, and then manually synced several times during the day. The fully charged battery lasted less than 24 hours. Fitbit's response was to tell me to use a different method of charging the device. Strange, since I have used EXACTLY the same charger & outlet the entire time I've owned the device. And....if the device is fully charged, how it was charged should have not effect on how quickly it discharges! Frustrating response!
