Suddenly my Versa is not displaying up to date data

2 days ago, my Versa display stopped showing the most up to date data for my sleep and water intake and activity.  It will sync since it shows the correct step count and allows me to change the watch face, but It still shows my sleep from Wednesday (now Friday) and for water, when I swipe right to see my weekly progress, it says "Sync your Fitbit to see historical data"

Its been working great with no issues since I purchased it about 4-5 months ago.  It is still tracking my sleep and activity according to the app, but will not update on the Versa display itself.  I have shut off Bluetooth, restarted the fit bit itself with no luck.  I liked having it all on my device rather than having to use my phone so any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Hi, try restarting your Versa multiple times in a row, e.g. 4 to 5 times, by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logoand release the buttons. Hope this solves your problem.

Thanks, I tried 6 times. Only difference is that I can see history on stats but it’s from 2 days ago 😕

Hi MisPris3,

I’ve been experiencing that same issue for quite some time.  I haven’t bothered addressing it, as I can get all my stats on my fitbit app, but it would be nice to have it all on my smartwatch.  I tried the suggestion offered to you, of restarting 4 - 5 times, but it didn’t work for me either.  Thank you for your post.  You’ve inspired me to pursue this further.  I hope you’re enjoying your Versa overall. I love mine!

All best.

I reset it 5-6 times with no changes but then a few hours later all data was up to date. Maybe it was a glitch? Overall. I love my Versa, my fave Fitbit out of all models I’ve had

  • Thanks so much, MsPris3, for sharing your experience.  I checked my Versa this morning and now, a day after restarting multiple times, like you, my Versa has all my sleep information on the actual device, in addition to the app.  This is great!!  Kuzibri’s advice was immensely helpful.  I’m so glad you’re enjoying your Versa.  It’s my favorite fitbit, as well.
