Hi! Got and set up Versa 2 last night. Set pool length in swim app. Swam this morning-only see lenth time swimming while swimming. Want to see number of yards, be able to stop and start distance tracking again for next set.

I can see summary of swim in the Fitbit app in exercise/swim  but that doesn’t help while in the pool st practice! What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

@AquaRettie You're not doing anything wrong. The cues for lengths of the pool have been removed. I believe this feature is supposed to bebrought back with one of the future updates. Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA.

Agreed, I miss knowing how many pool lengths I've covered. This is a very much desired feature that is now missing on my new Versa 2.  Please vote to put this feature back.

If you can, send the Versa 2 back and get you money back.  It is not close to being a swim tracker.  The data it tracks and shows on the screen while swimming doesn't exist and the data is provides thru the app after the swim in incomplete at best.

Terrible product and very misleading advertising for the item.

I don't know how it's supposed to do this. The Versa 2 doesn't have a built in GPS system and instead piggy-backs off of your phone. How will it gather this data? Has there been any 'official' statement that Fitbit plans on rectifying this mistake?

The versa doesnt need GPS for pools.   It does for open water swimming.  It can sense when you've completed a length on the pool and as long as you have set the length of the pool correctly it can determine lots of per lap statistics.  The problem is that the developers dont care about swimmers (not a big enough market)
