How do I get the swim feature to stop on my versa lite? On the other exercise it lets me pause and stop. It won’t pause and there is no flag to stop. do I need to do something in the settings first?

My versa lit is 4 days old and I used it in the pool today and was unable to pause and stop the swim feature. I had to restart my Fitbit to exit the exercise- I also tried is on land and still could not stop the swim app without restarting. I bought the versa specifically for swim tracking and it doesn’t appear to do this accurately. It also does not track pace, distance of lengths when I’m swimming

I have the pool length set at 25m

Pool length is set to 25m on Fitbit app and versa lite. Also I am unable to stop the swimming app as the pause function does not work.

I have found that I can pause and stop the swim tracking by pushing the buttons on the right side. It does not respond to tapping the screen as the other tracking tools do tho. Is there a way to make the screen brighter? I cannot read it in the sunlight. Thank you!

Try using the buttons on the right side to pause and stop.

There are no buttons at the side of Fitbit versa lite

@PattieL1108 I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your solution for the Fitbit Versa device. You can adjust the screen brightness by opening the Settings app on your watch and tapping the brightness setting to adjust it.
@Runninggirl73 @aine1512 thank you for your input. I would like to confirm that the Versa Lite device doesn't have the buttons on the right side.

I had the same problem with my Versa today. Everything worked great except I couldn't end the exercise. I also had to restart and lost all the data. Tested all other exercises and they worked fine.
