Swim shortcut on Versa Lite

I was led to believe that there is a swim Shortcut option on the Versa Lite. There isn’t one though. Looking at the forums it’s due to a bug but this was brought up last year and a Fitbit employee said it was being worked on. Why is there still no swim option?

I am glad to assist you with your concern about the swim shortcut on the Versa Lite. I would like to confirm that "Swim" is not an option in the Exercise app for the Versa Lite. It is an auto-recognized exercise only and you can confirm this information in this help article: What are my options for swim tracking with my Fitbit device?
