Sync issues on versa after international travel

I travel extensively internationally and the same problem keeps coming up. 

 

When I get to my location, the Versa syncs fine with everything coming through. On my return I can't get the sync working. Restarting, devices doesn't work and the only thing that is successful is removing my Versa and re-connecting it. This is really time-consuming as I have to re-set all my preferences.

 

Any advice.

More data is needed: what is the device you are syncing with? Brand and model number.

my device is an iPhone XS Max. 

 

The old iPhone X I had also had challenges syncing with my old Charge HR but the added setup on the Versa each time I have to re-connect makes it really annoying.

Fitbit has a list of compatible devices. However even if your device is in the kosher list, it  does not mean you are going to sync smoothly. And if your device is not in the listlike in my case it is still the same. Connection with WiFi and Bluetooth is random, sometime it sync, sometime I have to use my tablet, ifmy phone cannot sync for hours or days. Unreliable, inconsistent and random

That isn't the best news. Sync is random is how I see it as well. I was hoping that there would be some solution.

Yes unfortunately. You might want to install Fitbit in several devices: tablet, Windows PC and phone. Switch the Bluetooth off in all, except one. Then try to sync to that one device.if you succeed, give yourself a hug or high five. If you failed, try the other 2. One by one. This is what I suggest due to my personal experience. Or else buy something else.

I have a new finding. For several days when I turn on Bluettoth,  make sure that my Versa and Flex 2 is in the bluettoth devices list.

 

Today i purposely take the 2 out of the list, telling my phone to forget about those 2 devices.

 

Now my phone suddenly can easily sync with my Flex 2, before this, for the whole it cannot sync with phone.
