Sync issues with Versa and LG v30

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am a new fitbit owner, it was given to me as a gift. I also own a lg V30 and when the phone first was set up the two worked perfectly now after a few days of issues, it moved from minor issues to not syncing at all.

Any advice I've tried everything and it's quite frustrating!!!

Hi, unfortunately your phone is not in the list of supported devices yet, explaining the issues you now encounter. What you can try is this:

1. Deinstall the Fitbit app on your LG.

2. Restart your LG and enable WiFi and BT

3. Reinstall the Fitbit app.

Hope this helps.

Did all that and it worked for all of 10 mins. Fitbit should be clear on packaging what phones it is compatible with, purchasing was a waste of money and i am pissed

Hi, for what it's worth, before purchasing a new Fitbit device, check this site: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/?q=compatible&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1 . Scroll down to Android Devices and click on it and you will see a list of supported devices.

@Definitely_dee, don't expect to see the V30 on that list anytime soon. The latest phones they have listed for LG is the G3 and V10, both quite a bit older. I have had limited success with pairing with Versa Classic and making sure all notifications are turned on, even the sub entries. I've had to reconnect once in 2 days because I left my phone out in the living room overnight - about 30 feet away. So far if it's real close it's staying synced. Good luck.

Brand new Fitbit Versa and it won't sync! When I set it up yesterday when it arrived, it synced and worked fine. Last synced at 9:44pm last night. I've been trying everything to get it to sync. IF IT'S A FITBIT DEVICE, HOW CAN IT NOT SYNC WITH THE FITBIT APP?

I had same problem.   Finally I just set it up on my IPAD instead.  Problem fixed.  I don't see why I need to buy a new phone when mine works just fine!

I ended up getting rid of the Versa as it just quit working period a couple
of months past warranty. I still have and use my LG V30 as my primary and
it pairs fantastically will my Fossil Gen 5 that is going onto it's 3rd
year.
