Syncing the weather on my Versa

Hello, 

The face of my fitbit is broken into three parts horizontally.  Top portion is the time shown in numbers.    Bottom portion shows the steps, calories, heart rate, date and day.   No issue with those two though I am skeptical about the count on the heart rate.

The middle portion shows the weather, sunrise, sunset, current temp, sun or moon, and forecasting the weather for a couple of days.  My problem is that this middle portion show the weather doesn't change.  It's always the same.   I wish it was 8 above here in Calgary but it was minus 13 today.

How do I get the middle/weather portion of my Versa watch face to update?

Never tried this before but let's see what we get.

Sorry for the delay. I'll be glad to give you a hand with the issues that you're having when using the weather app on your Versa. 

Please check the following settings:

• Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS? 
• All-day sync must be turned on in the Fitbit app.
• The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.
• If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. 

Check these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check if the app has a pending update. For instructions, see How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit watch?
2. Turning off app permissions can cause the app to stop functioning. Check that you turned on all permissions:
   1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab   > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
   2. Swipe to find an app on your watch, and tap to open it.
   3. Tap Permissions.
   4. If any permissions are turned off, turn them on. Note that some permissions can cause your phone to use more data.
   5. Tap Save.
3. Your watch (excluding Fitbit Versa Lite Edition) must be connected to Wi-Fi for some larger apps and clock faces to install or update. For more information, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?
