Why can't I link my versa to Moto g7 was working for 2 weeks

I note that the G7 isn't officially supported by fitbit as it's not on their list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices But, if it was working then it should still work. My G4 is not listed and works fine.
So, try the usual things that have been known to fix syncing / connection issues:

I got both the G7 and the Versa2 a couple days ago and it is beyond frustrating so far. Everything will be fine then it is constantly losing the bluetooth connection. Will not resync then.
This was to finally replace my Pebble Time. Which was amazing and never ever had sync issues over a few years, making the move seamlessly across several phones.

The odd thing is this was a gift and worked from Christmas day up until 1/16/2020??
