My FitBit Versa has severe issues with Deezer / Music Syncing and I found out it is because the Versa is not compatible with TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers.
So if you have problems syncing your Versa or Ionic over Wi-Fi try to use a different router..
Please solve this!

Hi there @FitJem, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. It will depend of the router specifications as you mentioned. So i'm wondering which specifications was the TP-Link router?
Versa can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi networks. Your watch won't connect to 5GHz, 802.11ac, WPA enterprise, or public Wi-Fi networks that require logins, subscriptions, or profiles. If you see fields for a username or domain when connecting to the Wi-Fi network on a computer, the network isn't supported.
See you later and hope this helps.

I don't understand fully the technical aspects of routers, but I can say that I have a TP-Link router and my Versa connected to it without a problem.

if you are using an extender that could be your issue, an extender is one of the worst things you can use. it creates another network , it cuts your speed in half and it can only connect one or two devices, I would get a mesh system like the google wifi, a standard router like the tp link, is one directional the further you are a way from the router the weaker the signal and the lower your speed becomes. A mesh system is 360 and with the nodes you get you speed that you are paying in every corner of your home. Speed is your download speed...With all the devices that we have as a society..such as smart watches, laptops, tablets, phones, wifi printers, smart tvs. streaming sticks, amazon alexa google assistants, hue lights, smart plugs, video doorbells, smart locks, smart thermostats gaming systems, they all use wifi,,,, get rid of the tp link router, and the extender go mesh check out the google whole home wifi
