Taking forever to set up- versa 2

So my fitbit verse 2, not only did the heartrate monter stop functioning, but when i was tolf to just factory reset, it is being super slow just to set up, ive been sitting here for 30 minutes, and ive had to restart twice and ite only at 10 percent. Like legit, this is unbareable, and i dont have the money to replace it, but they are stepping through every hoop to not replace it.

I hope you are now up and running. I had to do a factory reset yesterday as well for a different reason. I followed these steps.

1) Deleted FitBit application from my iPhone. To my surprise, it kept my data which was nice.

2) Factory reset on Versa 2

3) Bluetooth on phone - told it to forget current Versa 2 device (at first I didn’t do this and it hung up during reinstall)

4) Reinstalled FitBit application and connected my Versa 2 (it worked 2nd time around, yay!)

Note: When I reconnected the Versa 2, it had to update to the latest firmware. The Reset fixed my initial problem so it was worth the effort. Whenever my Versa 2 stops syncing (occasionally) I do a soft reset and that restore the syncing.
