Text and email notifications are not coming through my Versa 2

I have a Samsung S22 and my watch is not getting texts or emails now for a month. I have done a factory reset o. The watch and reinstalled the fitbit app. Still nothing. I have checked that do not disturb isn't on. My watch still goes off with calls. I use Messages as my texting app and Gmail as my email. I've had the watch since Christmas 2021 and worked till about 3rd or so of June

Hello @FarmallPrincess

Let’s make sure some settings haven’t changed. Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Versa 2. Now scroll down and tap notifications. Ensure all your notifications are enabled here. Now (on the same page) tap App notifications. Look here to make sure all your app notifications are enabled. Once you have done all that sync your Versa 2 to accept any changes you may have made. If the problem continues go to your phone’s settings. Now scroll down and tap apps. Find and tap Fitbit in the list of installed apps. Now scroll down and tap battery then make sure unrestricted is checked. Now go back to the previous page and this time tap mobile data and ensure allow background data usage is enabled. Now again return to the previous page and this time tap notifications then scroll down to and tap notification categories and make sure everything is enabled. Now sync your Fitbit Versa 2 again to accept any changes you may have made. On a side note you said your made sure DND (do not disturb) isn’t on which is great. Also check to make sure you don’t have sleep mode enabled.
😃Ket me know if this helps.
