I can see that I have a message but I can not read them on my versa 2. It gives me the option to open it but I never see the message.

Hi @Hewettmd, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it doesn't allow you to read text messages.
Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, turn off and turn on the notifications again. Finally, monitor the text messages and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hello, I just received my Versa 2 for my birthday on the 31st of July. I have everything up and running and I'm loving it...except I can't read and/or respond to my text messages on the watch. I can read emails, calendar reminders come up, I get calls and I even get notifications for Text Messages, I just have the option to "open" or "clear" and when I press "open" nothing happens on the watch - it opens in my phone only. I have searched the forums, tried re-starts (both the phone and watch), un-installed and re-installed my Fitbit App and removed and re-added the watch in the App. I don't know what else to do, but being able to see my messages was a huge selling point when upgrading my old Fitbit to the Versa 2. I'm running the Android version 9 operating system on my Galaxy S8...please advise if you have any other suggestions.

I have contacted customer service twice and they have walked me through all the steps you recommend. Both times after not fixing the issue, the customer service rep says she has reported the issue and they are working on getting this resolved. However, mine still won't work. Do you have any updates on this getting fixed?
