Text messages not coming through my Versa 2

I recently bought a versa 2 and went through the process of setting it up and syncing it to my phone, however, I am not receiving any notifications when I get text messages, the wristband is set to vibrate, but nothing comes across.... any ideas why?

Hi there, @Lspoons. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for making sure that your Versa 2 is set to vibrate every time you receive a notification. 

Since you're setting up notifications, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell someone to send a WhatsApp (let's say you're trying to receive WhatsApp messages), then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected.

Hi there, that worked for me for Facebook messenger etc but I still can’t get text messages. I’ve set all notifications for it to come through but still doesn’t work. I’ve tried to reset, clicked & unclicked then reset and they still don’t come through

I'm having this problem too. On the app it comes up saying phone restart is needed but have done this nemerous times. Have reset my fitbit too and even tried to uninstall and reinstall the fitbit app, turning Bluetooth on and off. Literally tried the works nd it still not happening.

Likewise. I deleted and redownloaded the app too and reset the Fitbit to factory settings. Tried the worst too and still nothing
