Text messages not coming through my Versa Lite

I can get phone messages but it will not alert me when I have a text.  I’ve trouble shot, reinstalled. Updated the app, help.

Hi @Shellykaemtp - in the Fitbit App, did you click profile photo, device photo and Notifications and lower down, App notifications?

Any apps that produce a status notification on the phone can be made to come to the watch, providing you don't have sleep or do not disturb enabled on the watch.

While reading your post I was wondering (in case you're an iOS user) if the text messages your Versa Lite is not receiving are iMessages? I also have an iPhone and had a similar trouble with those messages, but I tried toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always".
