Text notifications disappearing from Versa.

I had a pebble and fitbit Alta. I thought the Versa would allow me to wear one only. Yes I wore both. I did the step by step from the book and app. I got text to be able to flash on my Versa but it would disappear after 2 seconds. When I try to pull text down it would say " You are up to date. No notifications". I am sick of battling with this for 4 hours, step by step. Can someone help?

If it doesn't have a messaging app how am I able to reply to the text.that do show up

Have the same issue. Was so much better on the Blaze

Same here...they should stay until there is like 28 or something...then be able to delete...mine are only staying a few minutes, then they are gone....

So disappointing. Fitbit: get you act together. This is a design issue. and it should not be an "expected" behavior. On Blaze, messages didn't disappear unless you specifically delete them on the watch. When is a fix due?

I had an issue in my previous account about message has ended when I'm still friend with my friends. Today I encounter same previous challenge in my new account. I can't comment, I can't reply text! Please help.

You might need to update in your Fitbit app and restart your phone, then restart your Fitbit......

@Marrrmaduke--with all due respect what you're saying makes no sense at all cause if they were just notifications and not messages...why do they give the option to quick respond to said messages oh i mean notifications by text or voice?  To then disappear so you can't respond makes no sense at all

I have this problem too. I've been working on this for 2 days! Removed from the connected devices on my Android, updated the app. Turned both the phone and versa 2 off and on. When I get a text on my watch, I click "open" and it disappears and then I see the message "you're all caught up" and it's gone! First of all, how am I able to reply to a message from my watch? Secondly, why do messages disappear after I see them? If I don't check it right away, it just says I'm all caught up and I have no way to go back to see previous messages. Do they auto-delete?

Yes. Old and persistent problem. Extermely disappointing.
