The back of my replacement Versa 2 is scratched up

My Fitbit had stopped working and a replacement was sent to me as I had only had it for 21 days. I just opened up the replacement and the back of it is scratched up. The face had fingerprints all over it with the protector put on top. I was under the impression I was receiving a new Fitbit, not a used Fitbit. What gives???
