I am so upset that I just bought this new Fitbit and the green light does not turn off even if you turn off the heart rate monitor. It causes pain in my wrist and I simply can’t use the watch. What a waste I am never buying Fitbit again. Will return this one.

Hello there @Tl857, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about this situation with your Versa 2. Note that the LEDs continue to flash if you turn off heart-rate tracking.
Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option.
Your comfort is important to us, so we have a couple of suggestions that might improve your wearing experience:
Keep your skin and band clean
Keep your tracker dry
Don’t wear it too tight
Give your wrist a rest from time to time
More details about each of the tips above can be found in our Wear and care guide.
Also, note that the LEDs on your device have very low power so they won't burn your skin, and they're programmed to shut down if your device freezes or can't find a signal.
I'll be around if there's anything else I may do for you.

I have a Fitbit Surge and when I plug the watch into a usb charger the lights go out and stay out until disconnected.
